[Siren Menage Amour Erotic Menage a Trois Romance, M/F/M, May-December]

Cass Abernathy is forty-three and she's getting a second chance at life, and maybe even love. She's finally divorced, after years of abuse, when she learns an unknown uncle in Oregon has left her his estate, and more importantly, his house. Filled with hope for her future and excited to have a place of her own, Cass heads west not knowing what she'll find.

What she finds are hot and sexy twin brothers intent on making her a part of their lives. It's too bad they're so much younger because they bring out feelings she's never had before.

Meanwhile, there's someone else interested in Cass' inheritance, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to make sure he wins.

Will Cass overcome her fears and open her heart to the two men who love her, and will she discover the truth about her inheritance before it's too late?

"Cass' story came to life as a way to encourage women of all ages not to give up on finding true love, and to keep their minds open to all possibilities. After surviving an abusive relationship, she's able to open her heart to a different kind of love. She gives her heart to not one, but two sexy brothers." ~ Missy ~

A Siren Erotic Romance

Table for Three Siren Publishing Menage Amour edition by Missy Martine Literature Fiction eBooks

I very much enjoyed this book. I liked the concept of the story, character development of the principals as well as the secondary players. I especially appreciated the concept of a slightly older woman (early 40's) with a history of an abusive ex finding love with younger men (age not specified but assumed they were early 30's) and sexual fulfillment. I thought the relationship between the three principals could have benefitted from more depth and development. The sex was well developed and hot.

It is my understanding that Table for Three was Ms. Martine's first book. I would have liked a more detailed, and indepth ending. I liked the book enough that I then bought two more of Ms. Martine's books: Catch Her When She Falls and Star Wishes. I would rate this book a 3.5. If the improvements I indicated had existed, I would have rated the book a 4 to 4.5. I hope to see more of Ms. Martin's work.

loved it.....very sexy.......love a romance with 2 very protective men of their woman. Yhis booked nailed it. The characters were well written.
If you are looking for a quick, sexy read, this is it. I wish there were more to the book. It felt rushed which is why I haven't ranked it higher. Still, she's a good writer. Just needed more time to develop the characters so I cared more about them. The distance between erotica and porn is time. Caring about the characters. This verged on the latter.
Cass is looking for a new life free from the fear she has felt since before her marriage ended. What Cass wasn't looking for was a new love or loves for that matter. Matt sees Cass and knows she is the one he and David are meant to have. Convincing David may be another matter all together though. Matt and David are twins that share a bond that they though would lead them to one woman however both of them married other women and did find any joy in it. Matt knows Cass is the one but not only does he need to convince David he needs to convince Cass. Cass still isn't sure if she is ready to start any thing with a man and to top it all off they are younger than her she thinks that they should have a real shot a love and family not be tied down to an older woman like herself. This is a great book about falling in love and finding that there can be a happy ending instead of pain
This is the first book I have read which features a two men and one woman combination. I have yet to find a book which has two women and a man, but I am sure there are some about!

The plot was good but appeared to have an unfinished agenda, though I figured that the sequel would answer the missing link and of course it does. I would have liked to find the first chapter of the next book in the back of the first so the reader knows the "missing" part of the plot is coming. Perhaps the sequel wasn't started at that time.

The plot was strong, unlike many erotica storylines, and the characters likeable. The age difference between Cass and the twins was just enough to cause doubts in the mind of the female protagonist. Cass's inner thoughts could have been brought out more, but this is a minor issue. The well-written sex scenes are very sparky!

For a first novel of this genre, which I am sure is quite hard to write, it is an excellent read )
I wanted to like Table for Three. Reading the blurb I thought it had many of the aspects I like in a menage. Two hot men. A woman who has found or is finding her strength. A decent villain to help bring them together.

And it did have most of this and a wealth of potential. What it lacked was a decent rhythm. from the beginning I had issues with the author's writing. Her "flow" so to speak. Or lack thereof. I was frequently thrown out of the story, as I reread passages to get the correct tone/inflection. There was nothing wrong with the grammar, it was more the difference between watching actors recite their lines verbatim with little to no inflection, and forgetting you were watching actors and becoming engrossed in the play itself. I hope that made sense to those reading this.

I've found that everyone's version of hot sex is different so I know better than to rely solely on reviews that proclaim the sex scenes to be hot. That being said, the sex was fine. Did it cause my toes to curl up around my ears, no. But it was better than many I've read and believable.

All of the above I could have excused and have in the past in other works by other authors, but what made this story a 1 instead of the 3 or 4 I thought it likely to get was the ending. It didn't have one. There were three major issues that should have been resolved and just weren't. For those who don't like spoilers I'll just say, I can't recommend this book, though I enjoyed the premise and it had potential it left me discontented.

For those who need additional justification please note that SPOILERS follow.

***********SPOILERS************

There were a number of issues in this book that needed to be resolved for the requisite HEA. The heroine's concern about entering into a polyamorous relationship? Addressed, and handled well. The issue with the heroine's inheritance? Likewise handled in an almost satisfactory manner. However the author deliberately emphasized the jealousy of one of the town's female citizens, the fear that the heroine had regarding her ex-husband finding her, and items that were stored in the attic of the heroine's inherited home that she repeatedly passed on investigating. These three issues were touched on again and again throughout this story, and nothing came of them. It was disappointing to say the least. Maddening, if we're being honest.

It is my heartfelt wish that there is, or will soon be, better works to be found by this author because with no real proof to go on, I still feel there is some very real potential in her writing. And I'd like to see it become reality.
